Silver Bangle Workshop

Silver Bangle Workshop

Would you like to design your own silver bangle in one day? Why not create one for yourself or make a present for a member of your family or a friend?

This fun and friendly workshop will give participants, with little or no previous experience, the basic skills required to make a unique bangle. The workshop starts at 10.00am finishing at 4.00pm, with a lunch break part way through. Participants will be guided through from design to creation, with demonstrations and advice throughout the day. Techniques covered will include saw-piercing, texturing, soldering, and polishing. Participants will have the opportunity to practice the techniques first in copper, before moving onto silver. Under the expert direction of Gemma Farr, your tutor for the day, participants will create their own design to take home, completed, fully polished and ready to wear.

Tools and equipment will be provided but students are asked to provide their own protective apron, sketchbook and pens for the day. If you already have hand tools such as pliers then you are welcome to bring these too but please make sure they are clearly labeled! The cost of the workshop includes lunch and enough silver/copper to make a substantial bangle. Additional silver and wire will be available to purchase on the day if required.

Our next Silver Bangle Workshop will be arranged soon. Join our Mailing List so you din't miss out!
